Morris County’s social media alert accounts on Facebook and Twitter, @MCUrgent, also have changed their names to @AlertMorris. Get updates from OEM and multi-jurisdictional emergency alerts through your favorite social media platform!
If you’d already signed up for @MCUrgent, there’s nothing to do – you’ll see @AlertMorris in your Twitter and Facebook feeds. Otherwise, follow @AlertMorris today on Facebook and Twitter!

TOWN OF DOVER EMERGENCY ALERTS - ALERT Dover
To register to receive emergency alerts by email, text phone, or whatever method of communication you prefer for the Town of Dover, sign-up for free at www.dover.nj.us
If you were a member of the County’s old notification system, Everbridge, your information was forwarded to AlertDover, but we ask that you re-register again, so we are sure to have captured everyone in the new system.

Special Needs Registry
For residents with special needs and their families, friends and associates, this special needs registry at NJ Register Ready will help emergency responders know who needs special assistance in a disaster or other emergency.
Smart911
Smart911 allows residents to create a Safety Profile at www.smart911.com for their household that includes vital information that you want 9-1-1 call takers and emergency responders to have in the event of an emergency. Residents can offer as much or as little personal or business information as they wish. Sign up at Smart911.com.
The Morris County Communications Center currently provides public service answering for 23 towns under the county’s communications network umbrella. 9-1-1 calls made to emergency call takers in those 24 towns would trigger Smart911 information displays.
