DOVER MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMAN REMOTE ACCESS TO MEETING

Release Date: March 20, 2020

DOVER MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMAN REMOTE ACCESS TO MEETING

Dear Residents, Taxpayers, and all members of the Dover Community,

As you are all well aware by now, COVID-19 has changed almost everything about our “normal” day.  The best way for us to overcome this pandemic is by following the CDC guidelines, which are available online https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html. By all working together and taking necessary precautions we can help limit and stop the spread of COVID-19.

As a result the Town of Dover has developed a process to hold public meetings so that both members of the Board of Aldermen and the public can attend and participate remotely.

The Mayor and Board of Alderman will still hold its meeting on Tuesday March 24, 2020 at 7:00p.m.  All officials and members of the public are welcome to call into the meeting.  The Dial-in number is (Toll) 712-451-0770.  The access code is 365018.  There will still be public comment portions for anyone who wishes to make a comment.  In addition to the call in number, the Town of Dover is hopeful that the meeting will also be livestreamed via YouTube.  The link to the Towns YouTube page is:
